The family has requested that people wear something colourful - light or turquoise blue if possible. There will also be a short child-centred memorial in church on Wednesday 20th at 4.30pm
NEW COFFEE ROTA - There is a new coffee rota at the back of church - please sign up for a week if you can! Attached to it is also a sheet detailing how to run the post-service coffee for those who are new to it or need a reminder.
URGENT FINANCIAL APPEAL
All things come from you, Lord,
and of your own do we give you.
We need to raise £20,000+ to repair the church roof
Without the money to carry out this essential work, we will be unable to secure the future of St Peter’s Church
One-off donations and fundraising events are important, but the best way to ensure the church doors remain open in the years to come is for its members to give regularly through planned financial giving. Please consider setting up a monthly financial offering, or increasing your current amount.
The Church in Wales makes it incredibly easy to do this via the Gift Direct Scheme, where in just a few minutes you can set up a monthly payment directly to St Peter’s Church. You can find out more about this and set up your planned giving by either speaking to our church wardens or using this QR code:
However you give, you can use the Gift Aid scheme to increase your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you - speak to Steve for more information.
If you have something you’d like to go in next week’s newsletter, please email sianparker@cinw.org.uk before Thursday lunchtime
If you know of anyone who cannot come to church and would like to receive home communion or a visit, please speak to Mthr Sian
