CHRISTMAS FAYRE 2025

Our Christmas Fayre will be held on Saturday 22nd November

Prize draw tickets are now available in church to purchase, and we encourage everyone to take some to sell to others.

We need good-quality donations of:

  • Bottles

  • New and unused gifts and toiletries

  • Cash to purchase prize draw gifts

ALL SOULS - Church will be open from 6pm on Sunday November 2nd for quiet prayer lighting candles, ending with evening prayer for the faithful departed at around 6.45. If you would like the name of a loved one who has died to be read out at evening prayer, please add their name to the list at the back of church or email sianparker@cinw.org.uk

ADVENT COURSE 2025 - This year we will be running a Ministry Area Advent course looking at the poetry of RS Thomas. We will meet on Wednesdays at 6pm, starting on November 26th, at various locations across the ministry area - more details next week!

CHRISTMAS MEAL - our Christmas meal will be held on Saturday December 6th - please see poster in church for more details, and talk to Kirstie or Bev to buy tickets.

FRIDAY FUN - The hall and gardens will be open Friday 31st October 10am-midday for children’s crafts and other activities. This is free of charge, and snacks will be provided, so please come along!

HALL CLOSURES - There are no gardening sessions and no Thursday morning coffee this week, and no community lunch on Monday 3rd November. This is so our staff can have a well-earned break after a very busy summer!

A48 ‘GHOST STORIES’ - A local theatre group is putting on a Halloween inspired play in the hall on Friday 31st October and Saturday 1st November. Tickets are £8 per person - please see the flyers at the back of church for more details.

FOREIGN COIN CHARITY COLLECTION - There is a tub at the back of church for donating foreign currency coins. The coins will be used to raise money for Mary’s Meals - more information available at the back of church on their wonderful work.

If you have something you’d like to go in next week’s newsletter, please email sianparker@cinw.org.uk before Thursday lunchtime

If you know of anyone who cannot come to church and would like to receive home communion or a visit, please speak to Mthr Sian
